Founded in 2005, The Plain Dirty Blues Band have been featured at the PEI Jazz and Blues festival, the East Coast Music Awards, Music PEI awards showcase, and Nova Scotia’s Smokin Blues Fest.  The band also represented PEI in the East Coast Blues Society’s  “Maritimes to Memphis” International Blues Competition.

The band's debut album "Five Dollar Cover" was nominated for Music PEI Blues Recording of the Year and received critical acclaim in the East Coast Blues Society's newsletter.  Their second album  "Slow Burn" made the International Songwriting Contest semi finals (“Mailman Blues”), and made the #2 spot on the Blues Underground Network’s top Canadian blues/rock albums.
